Over the years I've collected or constructed all sorts of things, from Airfix models to Tamiya full scale R/C models as well as things such as slot cars, fine scale trains etc...

As I mentioned on my opening page, I've been aware of Mini-4wd for sometime, but missed the original legacy models purely due to them not being generally available in the UK.  Now we live in a different world where we can shop internationally and get things shipped to us that we can't buy from the official Tamiya representative in the UK.  So now I'm a collector and constructor of Mini-4wd cars at last.  I have to say the modern versions have improved quite a bit in comparison to the early models as you would expect and I'm really impressed with what they do now.

So, as we have no official Tamiya support in the UK I thought I would create this site for other like minded people in the UK.  This is in the hope that eventually the official importer wakes up and smells the roses.  I believe the demand is there as there is a growing number of fans of Mini-4wd and we are even beginning to see organised race events.  Just imagine how this 'virgin' market might take off if the product was available over the counter from the official Tamiya distributor.  But until that day I guess we have to put up with importing the product with all the extra cost that involves.

Now if only we could find a cheap way of importing the race circuits it would really take off!
